Let us remember – in the eleventh month, on the eleventh day, at the eleventh hour, to honor our veterans this Veterans Day.
There are times when we reexamine that which is most important and where we are going – perhaps Veterans Day holiday is one of those times as we honor veterans of past and current wars.
We gave witness to heroic feats of courage by the military cavalry in war as we empathize with the maimed and mourn the dead. The time for the fictional surreal hero quite suddenly becomes real by the glorified heroic feats of the brave amidst the gore, fatality and sacrifices plagued by war.
Veterans Day is one of those times when we remember what is important. United by the irony of wars we hold patriotism close. It is a time to give back to the veteran by spreading peace and gratitude to a veteran. All veterans are heroes in their answer to the call of duty.
Perhaps one day wars will cease and it will be a day of peace. Yet, there can be no peace without the sacrifice of veterans. Give thanks to veterans on this Veterans Day.

REMEMBER D-DAY
I salute the heroic liberators of WWII in Europe on this commencement remembrance of D-Day 65th anniversary 06/06/45 - remembering my Dad, Gerard Fischetti, WWII Veteran.
In the years since we can look back to find a moving commentary on the soldier’s courage and a testament to the necessary evil of war. And for this reason we are reminder of how very much we need the military.
The remembrance of D-Day is a reminder of the horrors of and injustice of the Holocaust. The brave survivors have given a voice to still be heard today for the stories of the Holocaust still need to be told. Those who cannot remember the past are condemn to repeat it. We shall never forget.

Veterans who died for their country.
In remembrance of the American war dead, we gave witness to the heroic

Memorial Day is more than the start of summer. Pause and reflect - say a prayer. Remember the true meaning of the day. It is a day of remembering the men and women who died while serving in the United States Armed Forces.

D-Day 70th Anniversary June 6, 1944
Today as current news headlines is of the Veteran’s Affairs
scandal…we remember the Veterans from World War II. Years may pass we shall
never forget. Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction.
On
this 70th anniversary let us remember D-Day June 6, 1944 when
the
allied invasion of military troops began in the early morning hours united in
battle. Alas, the irony of a deadly war that united the living.
By the end of that day, the Allies began the battle to mark the
beginning of the end. Thus, D-Day, June 6, 1944, ultimately lead to the end of
World War II.
As Father’s Day approaches my husband, Robert (Vietnam era
Veteran) and I salute our fathers, Gerard Fischetti and Robert Davniero Sr. WWII
Veterans’ for their Army and Navy military service.
Yet, we should honor and remember all the veterans of our father’s
war not just our own.

In the wake of July 4th I visited the Declaration of Independence to find

We had an awakening to learn the words most quoted “We the People of the U.S…in order to form a more perfect Union…” etc. was not written in 1776 yet it was written 1787 as a Preamble to the United States Constitution, 11 years after John Hancock’s 1776 original.
The original 1776 John Hancock was consumed with Independence from England King Monarchy Reign.
Apparently, like the Liberty Bell tolls for Thee…"we the people..." took liberty with our history.

THE 4TH OF JULY
On this 4th of July, Independence Day, we should take a moment and give pause to reflect on our freedom, saluting the red, white and blue. Freedom is not free.
On this grand Independence Day Americans are all one in unity, sharing the same birthday of our country. Alas, not likely to be made perfect by this one day alone. All Americans shall pull toward those experiences of unity which separates us – if only to bridge us together as one united country for the common good. America shall rise.
Independence Day reminds us of to celebrate our freedoms and honor patriotism. Patriotic Americans ensure our nation remain the land of the free and the home of the brave for generations to come.

Re: Steven
Spielberg project “Shoah” Foundation
We applaud Steven Spielberg narrative tribute
to the Holocaust; “Shoah” as a historic chronicle record of the survivors
stories. “Shoah” Foundation opens a window to the past inviting the audience for
a heart breaking visit.
Spielberg
relates to the “Shoah” project as “;This
is what I was put on earth to do”; Spielberg “Shoah” project and Holocaust
movies (Schlinder’s List) are a remembrance of the horrors of the Holocaust
giving a voice to the Holocaust survivors and the unheard victims who lost their
lives.
In tandem
two generations young and old alike convene together to contribute in assembling
testimony of Holocaust survivors for “Shoah”. “Shoah” passes the Holocaust
survivor’s stories legacy to the young for future generations. Thanks to Steven Spielerg and the "Shoan Founation"we shall never frorget.

REMEMBER THE LADIES
Hail the women veterans! I salute American daughters who went to war.
The camaraderie of the women military enlisted forces is evident in Newsday’s report. All women veterans are to be commended for their bravery and courage to step up at times of war to volunteer for service. The women veterans in enlisted military, the military nurses, USO workers and even the civilian Red Cross all contribute to the cause and are in good company.
Newsday’s report on women veterans is a heartbreaking mirror for America’s lost at wartime; yet also America’s gain of an inspiring story of patriotism. With the support of all military veterans and Americans, perhaps one day we shall begin the long road back to peace. God Bless America!

The years will pass,
but 9/11 forever will last, forever locked in our memory. We shall never

By the opening of the September 11 Memorial

remembrance of that day.
The Museum
will display this poignant horrific part of American history with film, ruins

It is one of those times to remember the Veterans. Veterans serve us, now is the time to serve them when they return home in need of medical and wellness care.
Perhaps the real heroes are the ones who didn’t come back; however, we need to be remainder that a war Veteran isn’t just about the life lost in death. but a life lived. Don’t forget the Veterans at home.

The beginning of Flag Day June 14
It was the birth of the American Flag
Wave proudly on our country’s stage
Betsy Ross sewed the colors true
America’s red, white and blue
By 1916 President Wilson proclaim
June 14 Flag Day came to be named
Thus, our flag is a united emblem
To stand for the land of the free
In the home of the brave
Salute the flag as is waves
Be thankful for our freedoms
For all that our country has done
It’s the American way
