Flowers galore
The garden gate
Floral beauty await
A flower bath
A flower bath
Lace the path
Bouquet beauty
Garden variety
Pansies in a row
Marigolds aglow
A sweep of peonies
Field of daises
Fragrance there
Pervades the air
Lavish greens
Poking between
Blooming find
Nature’s design
A visit today
Then, away

Blue Bird Watching
Published Great South Bay Magazine
The focus seems just right
Stage for blue birds to sing
At this lovely season of spring
There a blue bird is seen
Among the leaves of green
Perched on a tree finding room
Where flower buds bloom
Blue bird on a branch await
For a graceful escape
As the blue bird flies away
To return another day

A SPRING DAY
Raindrops kiss
A morning mist
Gently falling
Springtime calling
After the showers
Comes the flowers
Blossoms to come
Make their home
With curtains open
Sunshine pours in
Shines on us today
Welcomes a spring day

Long Story Short, Pink Charelton
The
pendulum of life swings
It was once
upon a time
Of swings
and nursery rhythms
Young girls
at Sheepshead Park
On the
swings until it got dark
Flying high
chasing the clouds
My
childhood days allowed
As I look
back on yesterday
The
pendulum swings the other way
By sweeping
fallen leaves away
I long to
swing again today

Sunshine awakens the birth
Grandpa’s Roses from the earth
As blush of colors bathe
As blush of colors bathe
Grace the walking path
Enchanting scene we behold
As the rose buds unfold
Bloom is Heaven sent
Burst of sweet scent
Giving Mother Nature’s kiss
Splendor by garden’s bliss
The seasons comes and goes

The Dance
of the Trees
Suddenly
I notice all the trees
With rocking
and rolling leaves
Swinging in
the windy breeze
In
harmony with nature’s jazz
Rhythm of
the birds and bees
Tempo beat flowed with ease
The dance
of the trees

THE SONGBIRDS JOURNEY
Published Great South Bay, Write On, Long Story Short
Nearer Heaven and sky
Songbirds flutter by
Journey takes flight
Bird travelers’ plight
Lifted wings flew
To land they drew
Birds aloft are
Cometh from afar
Morning dawn clear
Turn a listening ear
Nature’s music rings
Hear Songbirds sings
Destiny gives way
Farther than today
For Songbirds yearn
Upon seasonal return
Where they sprung
Sweet songs unsung
Winged couriers flee
The Songbirds journey

Dolphins flow an ocean’s symmetry
In water dance of rhythmically
Swimming free in the Dolphins zone
Water bound lives instinctually
Graceful harmony beneath the sea
From shore to ocean they roam
The ocean calls the Dolphin’s’ home

Past the windy sweeping blows
By blankets of drifting snow
Comes a new day to bring
The first day of spring!
Skies that once was darken
Dawn sunlight will awaken
Gives hope of better tomorrows
Of blue skies and blooming flowers
Green grass as bumble bee’s spread
Seeds to grow the gardens bed
Listen to the blue birds sing
Suddenly it’s spring!

RAINBOW IN THE SKY
Published The Soul's Bright Book
Heaven’s gate between
Nature’s picturesque scene
By the hand of God’s design
For all the world to find
Give words of honor and praise
As the glorious vision raise
Behold the parting of clouds
Marvel as the colors surround
To paint spectrum harmony
Brushed in bow symmetry
A shrine of clouds fence
Cast Heaven’s radiance
Panorama view to supply
Rainbow in the sky
