GLOBAL WARMING
Published LI Press
Essentially, the Global Warming alarm has been heard – now, just what is the solution? I am at a loss to know what the solution might be, residing in a state of uncomfortable sense of uselessness.
Frankly, our species has become arrogant. We act as though the earth were ours to pollute and satisfy our needs foremost, without accountability or reverence to the earth. Thus, Global Warming is recognizant to the cause and effect of our species inhabitation. Nature cannot defend itself against the damage we create.
Reportedly, reduction in greenhouse gases, fossil fuels, smoke emissions, pollutants are plans that had not really gone beyond the words, understanding the systematic infringement thrust upon prosperity, lifestyle, and progress.
What steps shall be taken for reverting progress and forfeiting the modern conveniences enriching the lifestyle combustible fueled by greenhouse gases. Realistically, collective modern conveniences would not be voluntarily mass surrendered anytime soon, nor likely sanctioned or mandated by government.
Fundamentally, are we ready to actually rethink our attitudes towards energy, or is the cause a lost cause? As cost effective as solar energy may seem it is not the final solution to the global energy crisis; for it is inept to capture enough energy to meet all energy demands. Also, to draw electrical power from windmills is suspect to be efficient only where wind is strong and frequent. It is also unfortunate that the world’s oil reserves are unevenly distributed.
That being said, I ask if the futuristic earth’s fated end and demise is inevitable. It is ironic that advance geographic high-tech commerce, transportation, science, industry, and economic growth which has gifted humanity with a prolonged life span is paid at the cost of a spirally downfall spin of the Earth’s doomed life. Thus, humanity’s greed is our mournful countenance.
Alas, the Global Warming alarm may only prepare us against the eventuality of the end.

Go Green for a Day
(Earth Day April 22)
For just one day
Conserve and save
Do it your own way
Take a stand and be brave
Reuse,renew and recycle
Instead of a car ride
Peddle a bicycle
Just give it a try
Save the Earth for generations
Go green for a day
For all of God’s creations
Celebrate Earth Day

GLOBAL WARMING – THE HEAT IS ON
The heat is on for all the people to raise our consciousness to address and study Global Warming. Global Warming is unlike the norm of nature’s decomposition and regeneration. Our environment, nature and atmosphere are at risk. Essentially, our home, planet Earth, is endangered resultant of years of deterioration.
Inasmuch the warming trend in climate change gifted us with warmer winters (“this is not your grandfather’s winter”) it did not warrant alarm nor raise our consciousness to lobby for reform or coalition to mandate regulations to control Global Warming (who wants colder winters?) May this not be an omen?
Essentially, man’s lifestyle warranty expired as a result of the anomaly of weather from years usage of the amass fuels, gases and vapors discharge collectively emitting from industry, commerce, nuclear plants, and transportation to provoke the heat waves, climate change, pollution and floods befalling globally. Nature cannot defend itself against the damage we create.
Reportedly the compounded gaseous fuels, pollutants and carbon dioxide fossil fuels amass in earth’s atmosphere, temperatures rise align perchance en route on the road of perdition and leading to the demise of earth. Perhaps, a doomsayers’ cry of apocalypse may be overstated or premature (“the end is near,”) for earth has yet to evaporate water residue to mirror the planet Venus hellish state.
The wake up call is upon all of us. Challenge yourself, impregnated with the seeds of a movement, to leave the world better than how you found it. Take on a cause. If not now, when? Act and the words will follow. Write to your representatives to revise policy.
The future of the climate is in our hands to be proactive in the fight for the earth’s life. Given that the earth is our home, essentially the life you save may be your own.

Recycling Because
Recycling because
By nature’s laws
Energy conserves
